Cupcake Happy Hour [More Cupcakes] - Tues, Sept 22 @ 5:30pm

Hi all,

I've been thinking I could use a happy hour, but then I read Louisa Chu's comment on More's cupcakes.

But to call them a cupcake is almost a disservice. I think they are comparable to fine pastries in Paris. Trust me - More's cupcakes far better than some of the pastries at Laduree...

Cupcakes have lost most of their appeal to me since they became so fashionable, but cupcakes as fine pastries? I'm willing to believe. So, to save me from eating a box of cupcakes by myself (and so that I can try more varieties than I'd be inclined to try by my lonesome), I'm inviting any interested LTHers to join me in spoiling dinner tomorrow with a happy hour of expensive cupcakes.

From what I understand, More is standing room only, so depending on the number of people, we can stay there or pick out our cupcakes, find some green space and have an improvised happy picnic to take advantage of this warm first week of fall.

Boy, I wish I could, but I'll be busy making soup. Please have something bacon for me. I'll be looking forward to pictures and all the dirty details - we'll be in the area next week and I want to see if it's worth taking the very traditional Pie Dude along for the ride.
