NWU Students only - Big Bite Night, Evanston Oct 5, 4-5:30pm

Downtown Evanston restaurants will engage in out-and-out bribery to increase NWU student traffic - through this not-well-publicized event, "local restaurants welcome new and returning Northwestern Students with free samples of tempting cuisine in this fall tradition. Hungry diners line up for blocks in a mini Taste of Evanston which will help students determine which restaurants will become their "faves" in the coming year." (from Evmark)

"Big Bite Night is especially good for new students who don't yet know what lies off campus," says Jilian Lopez, Director of Community Relations for Northwestern’s Associated Student Government.To participate, students can check in at any of three locations -- Whole Foods at Chicago Avenue and Church Street, the Chase tower building at 1603 Orrington Ave. or the Norris Student Center on campus -- and show their WildCards to receive goodie bags and walking routes."
