Taste of Ireland - The Galway Bakers

Does your cake fall flat in the middle? Have you tried to recreate your grandmother's soda bread to no avail? Generations of expertise is the secret ingredient in this program that focuses on traditional Irish baked goods. Classes will be conducted by Chicago's premier purveyors of Irish baked goods, the Galway Bakers. From brown bread to Guinness cake and apple tarts, learn to recreate the staples that define so much of Irish cuisine, and discover their history as well.

    Tuesdays, 7-8:30 p.m.

N.B. Participants will be provided with a list of necessary equipment and supply costs before each class. The supply cost for the first two sessions, per individual, is $3.75, payable to the instructors.
