World's Greatest Cookie Sale, 12/6, Oak Park

Every year, the preschool moms at Pilgrim Church in Oak Park bake over a hundred different types of cookies and lay them out for cookie lovers to pick up and pack into white bakery boxes -- all you have to do is be able to close the lid on the box, otherwise you cram in all that will fit. The price varies year to year, but I seem to recall it's about $15 for a small box. It's always a really good deal because you get a lot of high-quality crunchies for a fair price and it goes to a good cause.

The sale is this Saturday, 12/6, from 9:00-11:00AM, and lines start forming about 8:30AM. By 11:00, the pickings will have gotten pretty slim.

For me, this is one of the best features of the holiday season; I think it's the World's Greatest Cookie Sale (prone as I am to hyperbole, particuarly when it comes to cookies).

Since as far as I can tell, you are not a preschool mom, is it correct to understand that they will not be selling any version of the World's Greatest Cookies at the World's Greatest Cookie Sale?

In any event, I doubt I'll make it to OP that early on Friday... but it sounds like a cool event.

My, you presume quite a bit about my private life.

You're right though; I'm not making my TWGCs for this event.

I would love to attend this event but I have committed to volunteer at the pancake/breakfast with Santa event at my daughters school.
