Our first Supper Club of the year will be disguised as a cocktail party.
A few months back, I was foraging for like minded, local, distilleries. Exactly one day after I had that thought, I received a call from Brian Ellison of Death's Door Spirits. He had heard about us from someone at Green City Market and wanted to discuss collaborating somehow. Call it Kismet.
When Brian came in with samples of their products, I was an instant fan. I had never tasted gin, vodka, or white whiskey quite like that of Death's Door. Their Vision and Mission are very like minded, bringing the work of the local farmer to the consumer, though instead of food they are doing it with booze!
Brian will be here shaking up cocktails with their products, but feel free to bring your own if you choose.
We also have Michelle Garcia from Bleeding Heart Bakery/Chaos Theory who will be here to discuss their process and use of organics in pastry and sweets.
The price of the Supper Club includes heavy finger foods featuring our local farms, drinks by Death's Door, and sweets by Bleeding Heart.
Melissa Monroe will be with us, once again, debuting a new line of pottery.
We will most likely have other special guests, but at press time I have yet to hear back from a few potential folks.
If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will be happy to work with you.
