Post #1 - September 5th, 2009, 1:57 pmTomorrow, my mushroom friends and I will be exhibiting and discussing wild mushrooms at the Chicago Botanic GArden in Glencoe. I believe we will be in the education building, which is near the rose garden.
The co-authors of Mushroom Illinois will be there to sign books and chat: Joe McFarland of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Greg Mueller, formerly of the Field Museum and now VP of Education at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Our friend Pat Leacock of the Field Museum will also be there. I'll be there in my role of chief merchandiser.
