    Enjoy A Taste of France at Lycée Français de Chicago’s Annual Fall French Market

    What: Experience the tastes, sounds, art and antiques of a traditional French marketplace at
    the annual Lycée Français de Chicago (French International School) Annual Fall French
    Market. Event includes shopping with more than 60 vendors, culinary demonstrations
    from top Chicago chefs, a French Bistro and a Children’s Pavilion (with supervised activities
    to keep kids ages 3 and up occupied while parents shop).

    Market showcase features collectibles, jewelry, artwork, antiques, home décor,
    housewares, cheese, pastries and confections.

    Children’s activities include French musical games, dancing, magic, face painting and balloon
    art.


    When:
    Cocktail Party Preview: Friday, October 16 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.(Adults only event)
    Tickets: $30 in advance $40 at the door

    Market: Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Sunday, October 18 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    Market admission: $5 for adults, free admission for children

    Children’s Pavilion: Shop without the kids. Supervised activities at the Children’s Pavilion for
    ages 3 and up
    Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Sunday, October 18 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

    Pavilion admission: $10 per child or $15 per family with a recommended maximum of two
    hours

    Where: Lycée Français de Chicago, 613 W. Bittersweet Place, Chicago. Enter
    from Irving Park Road at Marine Drive. Bus 135, 136, 144, 145, 146,
    148, 80, X80

    Why: Proceeds from the event will benefit Lycée Français in its mission to
    provide a dual-language education focused on academic excellence.
