    From Chicago Special Events:

Unique! Chilean Meal Week at Dinotto Ristorante
THIS Thursday, October 15, through Sunday, October 18
    215 W. North Avenue | Chicago
Looking for a unique culinary experience? From now through this Sunday, October 18, you can experience Chilean meals when the Chilean Trade Office in Chicago hosts Chilean Gastronomic Week, a week long promotion that celebrates the South American country's gourmet food products, cuisine and wines, at Old Town's Dinotto Ristorante, 215 W. North Avenue.

The restaurant will feature a special Chilean menu (in addition to its traditional Italian fare) created by Chilean chef Katherine Medel. A three-course meal spotlights Chile's traditional gourmet ingredients such as the Mapuche spice blend Merken, extra virgin Chilean olive and avocado oils, Chilean fruit, Chilean salmon, top Chilean wines as well as Chilean 'pisco,' a popular liquor distilled from grapes.

Cost of the 3-course Chilean meal, which includes appetizer, dessert and wine, is $39.95. Smaller plates are also available. Call Dinotto to make your reservation or if questions: 312.202.0302.
"The fork with two prongs is in use in northern Europe. In England, they’re armed with a steel trident, a fork with three prongs. In France we have a fork with four prongs; it’s the height of civilization." Eugene Briffault (1846)
