Pastoral hosts Leslie Cooperband of Prairie Fruits Farm, Illinois’ first farmstead cheesemaker. Leslie will discuss her experiences as a local cheesemaker and farm owner, highlight how and why she started making small batch goat cheese at Prairie Fruits Farm, and describe the importance of relationships with producers.

There will be time for Q&A, and guests are invited to taste Prairie Fruits Farm’s artisan chevre.
