My first trip to BopNGrill today.
(Cliché alert) Count me a fan.
For the Evanston Lunch Group™ it wasn't the easiest food to share, but we did get to taste some things beyond what we each ordered.
I started with the Kimchi burger, Moetchandon had the Moco Loco burger.
(Kimchi burger on the right.)Echoing comments on the
BopNGrill thread, both were very good, although I appreciated the slight spiciness from the kimchi. I was vaguely reminded of the burgers at Kuma's Corner, with so much going on.

Others had the Ribeye bop plate (slightly chewy beef, with rice and fries, Ideal for those who don't get enough carbs in the diet)

and the Sampler platter (Shrimp, chicken and beef for those who don't get enough carbs or ketchup packets in the diet).
Overall, it's a very creative place; Chef Song obviously knows what he's doing. I wonder if the the high school kids who frequent the neighborhood appreciate the level of the cuisine. I hope they do.
