Executive Chef Scott Walton Shares Holiday Tips and Recipes
In the spirit of the holiday season, MARKETHOUSE Restaurant and Bar’s Executive Chef Scott Walton will share his best tips and demo his favorite recipes in the “Heartland 101 Chef Series” on Tuesday, Dec. 7 and Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. For the Tuesday, December 14 class, Chef Walton will be joined by Farmer Louis John Slagel of Slagel Family Farm, which has provided all-natural quality meats to Chicago and central Illinois for generations.
The classes are complimentary and will include wine and beer tastings and light bites from MARKETHOUSE’s dinner menu. For guests who stay on for dinner, MARKETHOUSE will offer 30% off select bottles of wine featured in the class. Additionally, MARKETHOUSE will be collecting canned goods to be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Reservations are required and may be made with General Manager Andrew Macker at
