    Sheetal Bhagat, a finalist (and local northsider!) from the newest Gordon Ramsay cooking show “Master Chef� will be talking about her experiences and reading from her new manuscript.


    The event will feature a three-course, $25 fixed price menu (shown below-which will be delicious!) followed by a conversation with FOX’s Master Chef finalist, Sheetal Bhagat. Sheetal will talk about her experiences on the tv show and the ways in which she has followed her passions throughout life. Several bottles of wine will also be raffled at the end of the event.


    Reservations are required through Uncommon Ground, and they expect the event to be quite popular. People need to register by calling Uncommon Ground directly: 773-465-9801. This is an exciting partnership for Swedish Covenant Hospital because we are featuring our new wellness website (Well Community) at the event. Sheetal has also provided us with an exclusive online interview which will be posted on the site within the next few weeks.

    1st Course (choice of):
    Winter salad-raw and roasted root vegetables and radishes, smoked rutabaga puree, mizuna, miso vinaigrette
    OR

    Soup of the day

    2nd Course (choice of):
    Meatloaf bacon wrapped with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, and red wine sauce
    OR
    White fish roasted with carrot cardamom puree, melted leeks, and a chive emulsion
    OR
    Semolina gnocchi, sweet potato puree, brussel sprouts, caper brown butter

    3rd Course (choice of):
    Banana chocolate bread pudding with vanilla crème anglaise
    OR
    Lemon tart orange marmalade, whipped cream
