Post #1 - June 1st, 2011, 8:21 amNight Lab is a science outreach effort from the creative mind of Stephanie Levi, Coordinator for the Student Center for Science Engagement at Northeastern Illinois University. An upcoming Night Lab will present the science of coffee, tracing the life of coffee from tree to your cup with Sarah Kluth, coffee buyer for Intelligentsia Coffee. Illinois Science Council will partner with Sarah and Intelligentsia for a Chemistry of Coffee workshop in the fall, so this can be your preview for ISC's fall program. (Check back with ISC for date and time.) Night Lab is Sunday, June 12, 7-9pm at Schuba's Tavern-Upstairs, 3159 N. Southport, Chicago."To get long" meant to make do, to make well of whatever we had; it was about having a long view, which was endurance, and a long heart, which was hope.
