Culinary + Visual Arts Event - "Starving Artist"

Foodies and art-ies of Chicago:

Starving Artist presented by Chicago Artists' Coalition.

Starving Artist pairs four renowned chefs with four outstanding artists. Chefs and Artists meet, trade their favorite tools and utilize those tools in the creation of original pieces (food & art) inspired by one another’s aesthetic. The artwork created will be exhibited and auctioned at the event, while the Chefs’ creations will be enjoyed by guests.

Pairs include:
Hillary Blanchard-Rikower, one sixtyblue, Pastry Chef & Lauren Brescia, Artist
Koren Grieveson, avec, Chef de Cuisine & Tim Anderson, Artist
Stephanie Izard, Girl & the Goat, Executive Chef & Richard Hull, Artist
Randy Zwieban, Province, Executive Chef/Owner & Judy Ledgerwood, Artist

Additional Auction Items Include:
An intimate tasting adventure through Girl & the Goat's eclectic menu for two guests at the coveted Chef's table, including wines specially blended for the restaurant, Chef/Owner Stephanie Izard's hand crafted Bourbon served as a specialty cocktail and a complimentary bottle of the bourbon for each guest. Dinner for four at avec with hand-selected dishes by award winning Chef de Cuisine Koren Grieveson, paired with wines chosen by Partner and Sommelier, Eduard Seitan, and completed by an indulging desert prepared by Blackbird/avec Pastry Chef, Bryce Caron.
Private dinner for four guests at Province Restaurant hosted by artists Judy Ledgerwood and Tony Tasset and featuring a special menu created by Executive Chef/Owner Randy Zwieban and served on original pottery pieces by Ledgerwood.
A behind the scenes, one-on-one pastry class and tasting at one sixtyblue with Pastry Chef Hillary Blanchard-Rikower.

Further entertainment for the event provided by burlesque artists from Pearl Pistol Productions and DJ Margot.
