We've usually managed an outdoor meal with the group at least once during the summer months — and the tiny, relatively new Eclissi in downtown Skokie has a very inviting patio in the back. There's been no real feedback on it on LTH, so we'll be pioneers on Monday, August 29 at 12:30. The menu is mostly Italian, with an emphasis on small plates.

    Check it out here:

See you there! (Evanston Lunch Group™ membership cards not required)

No to sound like a party pooper - but that's the same day and time as the LTH North Lunch Group outdoor outing in Highland Park. Care to come up north and join us? We're too busy eating and schmoozing to worry about membership cards. 8)

I'd love to go to this since I work right down the street, but with only on hour I'd better pass. Please post lots of pictures and all the gory details.

I'm back (threat or promise?). I'll be there.

It's possible to get in and out within an hour. If you miss the hanging around and chatting part, you're really not missing that much.

    PL,

If we know that you are coming, we can order enough for you (we usually order family style), and then you can arrive at 1:00.

Sez you! I plan to be there on the 29th, trying my best to make the hanging around and chatting part relevant....

I think I'd miss the chatting and hanging. And I don't want to have you guys order just to suit my schedule, so I'll just let you be the guinea pigs! But I appreciate the offer.

This is so close to my office. If my Monday morning goes well, I'll be there. Consider me a definite maybe.

A really nice lunch today. Thanks, Tom, for putting it together.
