Vegan and raw-food cooking classes, beginning Sept. 17

I doubt there are many vegans or raw-food dieters here, but some of you may nevertheless be interested in learning how to cook in those styles. Karyn Calabrese of the Karyn's restaurants and Kay Stepkin, owner of the erstwhile Bread Shop, which purportedly was Chicago's first vegetarian restaurant when it opened the '70s, are launching a series of cooking classes, beginning with an Italian-focused one on Sept. 17.
