    Calumet Photo is holding a food photography workshop Saturday, December 3, 2011 (10:30 AM - 1:00 PM) at their Oak Brook location. The cost is $50.

    HI,

    For me that is horrible timing, too many events stacked on that day.

    If anyone goes, please comment on what you learned.

    Get close to your subject
    Place item close to a bright window
    If is is a sunny window, soften the sun (for most items) with a sheet or a thin white cutting board
    you can use a second cutting board to fill in the shadows
    Learn how to adjust your exposure

    Adjust your camera ISO so you can handhold the camera without making the
    Shot blurry from a slow exposure.
