On Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 2-4 p.m., members and friends of Slow Food Chicago will meet at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Center for Slow Food Chicago's Annual Meeting. Some of you may be interested in attending. At the event, SFC Board Members will discuss new initiatives and the forthcoming Terra Madre Convivium. In addition, there will be a little taste treat for attendees of RedStreak cider! The Annual Meeting is a free event. Due to demand, please RSVP online here.

RedStreak is a true, English-style draft cider made by Virtue Cider, a Chicago-based craft cider company that specializes in branch-to-bottle ciders made from heirloom apples. Gregory Hall, former brewmaster of Goose Island and two-time Terra Madre delegate, is the founder of Virtue Cider. Gregory will be the keynote speaker at the Annual Meeting, and will speak about RedStreak cider and other important issues.
