The100-year anniversary of the sinking of the
Titanic will occur this April. For those who are interested, Todd Fisher, Director of the Napoleon Society, is planning a recreation of the last dinner served in First Class on the Titanic.
I don't have all the details from Todd yet, but so far we know that it will be Sunday, April 15, at Le Titi de Paris in Arlington Heights, and it will be $300 per person, including tip and tax. (If you don't want the wine pairings with each course, the meal would be $50 less.)
Todd will be inviting members of the Napoleon Society and the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, but because he needs to have a minimum number of 30 to pull this off, he told me I could invite LTHForum members, as well.
A sign-up site is being created, but I don't have that information yet. I just wanted folks to have a chance to get it on their calendars if they're interested, and I'll update this as soon as I have more details.
Hope to see you there. Knowing Todd, this will be a remarkable event.
