http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/292364Chicago, IL - Tuesday Night Dinner is taking the party back indoors for the winter season, ‘popping-up’ at Ven Sherrod Studio in Pilsen on November 27, 2012. With the end of the growing season quickly approaching, the availability of locally sourced produce wanes until the spring. Never to fear, the creative team at TND has devised the dinner series ‘Last Tuesdays’, that draws inspiration from Chicago’s collective food history, sourcing from little known ethnic markets and specialty suppliers across the city. For $30, guests will enjoy a four-course plated meal from the TND kitchen, libations, live music, and gallery from local artists.
Tuesday Night Dinner is an underground dining community that has been creating eclectic dinners for Chicagoans since 2009. Tuesday Night Dinner is committed to creating a dining environment where guests feel a closer connection to their food and its sources. TND hosts communal dinners that are seasonal, fearlessly creative, and hyper-local. TND is committed to supporting Chicago’s emerging food and arts scenes by partnering with individuals and organizations that share our values regarding the role of community.
Tuesday Night Dinner hosts a communal dinner the last Tuesday of each month. The locations, artists, and collaborators rotate depending on each dinner. This month’s TND is on November 27th, from 8-11pm, at Ven Sherrod Studios located at 1906 ½ S. Halsted St. Each course will be plated and served communally.
