Gather around the Dank Haus German American Cultural Center's kitchen table with guest presenters from the Chicago Japanese American Historical Society for a demonstration of hands-on Japanese-American mochi and German-American "fire tong punch," or try to pronounce the German name, Feurzangenbowle.
Taste the Japanese- and German-American New Year food.

Walk away with recipes, new vocabulary, and a filling conversation!

Nominal fee of $10 includes cultural demonstrations, recipes, and tastings.
