As alluded to above, unlike in previous years, this year there are 2 types of tickets: with or without beer. With beer, the cost is $60 per person. Without beer, the cost is $45 per person. The 'with beer' option includes access to all the food, the Half Acre taps (and a variety of sodas) from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. 'Without beer' tickets are valid for all the food and the non-alcoholic beverages from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. After 8:00 pm, additional beverages may be purchased directly from Half Acre at the bar. A small, additional service fee will also be charged by EventBrite.com for both types of tickets. 2 different types of wristbands will be issued upon check-in to help us manage this detail -- one for beer folks, one for non-beer folks. Each attendee will also receive the official 2013 GNR Poster (faithfully compiled by stevez). Tickets are non-refundable but transferable.
Space is limited. Awardees and their nominators will have the right of first refusal on spaces at the banquet. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you are interested in attending, please follow these instructions:
Please post here with the number of people in your party (no more than 2, please) and which beverage option you desire for each person. You need not worry about procuring tickets for your nominee, as the GNR Committee will contact all the awardees directly (but if you'd also like to let them know about the banquet, and encourage them to attend, that'd be great). After you post here, we'll send you a PM containing detailed sign-up information and instructions on how to purchase your tickets. These PMs will be sent out in the order in which those requesting tickets have posted on this thread. Your reservations will be confirmed once you pay for your tickets at EventBrite.com, using the link that will be sent to you via PM. Once your tickets are purchased, we will add your name(s) to the 'official' list of attendees, which will be maintained on this thread. Ticket sales will close promptly at 11 am CT on Friday April 12 so that we can provide ourselves with a firm head count and enough lead time to inform those on the waiting list (should there be one) whether they can attend or not.
Whether you have nominated a restaurant/resource or not, if you want to attend the dinner, please post here indicating so. Because the Tap Room has limited capacity, we don't expect to be able to honor all ticket requests. Due to the space constraints, we also respectfully request that you limit your requests for tickets to no more than 2. Once awardees and successful nominators are taken care of, the remaining ticket requests will be fulfilled in the order in which they are made on this thread. Since we not yet sure how many of the Awardees and nominators will attend, we're not exactly sure where the waiting list will start. Rest assured, though. If you purchase tickets that we cannot honor, your money will be promptly and fully refunded to you (including all fees). If the list should grow that long, we'll do everything possible to make sure that only those with a reasonable possibility of attending will have to purchase in advance.
So, to recap, everyone queues up here, successful nominators will have their ticket requests filled first, everyone else gets theirs filled in the order in which they've posted here. Awardees will be contacted directly, and provided with tickets, by the GNR Committee.Other Important Information:Due to the nature of the venue, this is strictly a 21-and-over event. No one under 21 will be admitted, under any circumstances.
We expect to have seating available for just about everyone who attends but please be prepared to mill about for some portion of the evening. In order to maximize capacity, we cannot provide a dedicated seat for the entire evening for every person who attends. There is fixed seating in the Tap Room for about 70 people and we are bringing in several folding chairs but we still anticipate there being about 10 more people than seats throughout the evening. We expect that folks will be courteous, not camp out in their seats all night, and share the seating with the other attendees.
The folks at Half Acre have graciously offered to conduct brewery tours for us during the event. We're not sure exactly what time they'll start but we're hoping for one at 6:30 and one at 7:00. They should last about 20 minutes each. If you think you'd like to take a tour, please factor that into your arrival time.
If you have any questions, please post them here or send me a PM.
We hope you'll join us to celebrate LTHForum.com's newest GNRs.

Thanks!
