After having lunch at Bat 17 Saturday, Moetchandon and I thought it might be a bit too small, noisy, and sports-bar-y for the Evanston Lunch Group™. So instead, we'll go to another, vaguely similar, well-established place that ELG hasn't officially visited as a group — Prairie Moon.

Post #10 - May 21st, 2013, 11:52 amMoetchandon's uncle had the unmitigated temerity to pass away recently, so we'll be going to the services in Wisconsin on Thursday. We'll be sorry to miss the group, but I've made a reservation for 7 people at 12:30 at Prairie Moon, under the name "LTH."

Post #11 - May 21st, 2013, 12:49 pmJust a quick reminder if you are planning LTH events:Tips and Guidelines for Event Planners and Attendees wrote:To avoid all appearances of impropriety, please do not use the name "LTH" or "LTH Forum" when making reservations at an establishment. We do not want operators to feel they are being pressured, strong-armed or influenced to provide comps or special treatment. It is absolutely unacceptable to use the LTH name in such a manner, so please refrain from doing so.
