Dinner @ Den Den Eritrean Restaurant - Tuesday June 4 @ 6:30

After having a dinner at Den Den, I'm still drooling over the red lentils I had, so decided to plan a dinner there.

no worries, I'll put you folks as maybes.
(one big benefit about weekday dinners is it usually not a problem to increase/decrease reservation size,
so even last minute attendees are welcome)

After dining there a few weeks ago on a weeknight, I know the restaurant can easily handle more folks,
so if anyone can make it last minute, feel free to stop on by, you are more than welcome to.

Wonderful dinner in excellent company. Den Den was really great. Like most good African restaurants, much of the food is cooked after you order it -- so not a place to dash in for a quick bite. But delightful, flavorful, fascinating food -- and charming people who are eager to please.

We dove into the food with such enthusiasm that it was half gone before someone mentioned that no one had taken photos. The comment was made that no one on LTHForum would ever visit a restaurant without images. So close your eyes and imagine a classic Ethiopian dinner spread over fluffy slabs of injera (this is Eritrean, but the two look pretty much the same). Let that be your image. Because you don't want to miss this place just because no one took photos.

we were either too full from the meal or no one had the cojones to walk over to another table & take a pic of the food as that table was getting served, so per Cynthia's comment, sorry no photos.

Thanks to those that came out, I really enjoyed the meal & company.
