9th Annual Bucktown Apple Pie Contest - Oct. 20, 2013

Hello everyone,

It's time for my yearly intrusion on your online community, and like the last few years, I hope you don't mind me making an announcement.

The Bucktown Apple Pie Festival is coming up on October 20 this year. Registration is currently open and we'd love to see you guys enter your pies. It's a community event, so you don't have to worry about coming up against some baking juggernaut. It's really an open field every year.

Registration is here. It's $25, and we require two pies. All proceeds go to making improvements to Holstein Park.

I'll be back later to bump up this thread closer to the event, but in the meantime, if you have any questions, leave 'em here and I'll do my best to answer. As long as the question doesn't involve math. Ugh, math.
