    We recently lost friend and colleague Chef Homaro Cantu, and his family lost a loving father and husband.

    On May 11, 2015, Bread & Wine will host a benefit and silent auction to assist the Cantu family. Please join our efforts by attending the event, bidding on silent auction items and/or donating what you can to the family of our dear friend.

    A $75 minimum ticket donation includes the following:

    -Food donated by Smoque BBQ and Bread & Wine
    -Beer from Revolution Brewing
    -Wine from Bread & Wine, Heritage Wine Cellars LTD, Vinejoy, Louis Glunz Wines and others to come
    -Spirits from Valentine Distilling Co., Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and Southern Wine & Spirits

    Silent auction items (to date) will include:

    -Chef Dinners from A10 Hyde Park, Dove's Luncheonette, The Violet Hour, bellyQ, Juno Restaurant Lincoln Park, Grace Restaurant, Frontera Grill, The Portage, Community Tavern, Pump Room and many more
    -Cooking class hosted by Carrie Nahabedian of NAHA
    -Dinner for two and guest chef for a day at Taus Authentic Food & Drink (from the VP of The Trotter Project Board, Chef Michael Taus)
    -Check, Please! WTTW bartender walk-on role
    -Private 5 course dinner (+ wine pairings), for up to 8, at Feast & Imbibe Events' kitchen in Evanston.
    -Three (3) sixty (60) minute private lessons at Wildcat Golf Academy, instructed by Pat Goss, Jeff Mory and Sam McKenney.
    -Pavé Diamond Studs from ASH + AMES
    -Greenbush Brewing Co. "Tour, Eat & Drink" package
    -3 liter bottle of Château Dauzac, Margaux 1995 from Knightsbridge Wine Shoppe
