It's just the nature of the event that no longer interests me. There was a time when something like this would have been of interest. But the market is completely and utterly saturated. I can get beyond my fill of listening to CK (and others) discussing culinaria (on demand in many cases) without having to burn an evening to do so. And beyond that, paying for it just seems insane to me. And if someone said "we'll give you $20 to attend," I'd think I'd probably decide that having that particular evening free would be worth more to me than the $20.
