    SECOND BIENNIAL SYMPOSIUM ON AMERICAN CULINARY HISTORY: REGIONAL AND ETHNIC TRADITIONS MAY 18-20, 2007

    CLEMENTS LIBRARY, UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN, ANN ARBOR

    DETAILS AND REGISTRATION INNFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE BY AUGUST 1, 2006 (or sooner). Attendance will be limited to 200 people.

    I attended the last symposuim, and the Dedication of the Longone Collection. It turned out to be a most inspiring event at which I met Cathy2 and embarked on a new chapter of culinary adventures. I think we should plan for a significant LTH presence at the next symposium.

    Second Biennial Symposium on American Culinary History: Regional and Ethnic Traditions.

    *Update July 2006: We are in the process of confirming the speakers and program. It promises to be a stimulating and informative event.

    Details will be available on this site by Sept. 15, 2006 and registration information soon after.

    Attendance will be limited to 200.

    I was just in contact with Jan Longone, and it appears that there are still a few openings for the symposium, if you thought you'd missed your chance.
