The small bar: suggestions for small booze bottles

I live alone, and while I enjoy a cocktail or three out, I generally do not drink alone. I occasionally have family and friends over, but most of them either don't drink, or drink either beer or Crown Royal.

My "bar" currently consists of only what I drink:
- Crown Royal (750ML, been in there 3 years)
- Jack Daniels (750ML, 5 years)
- Southern Comfort (just finished a 1.75ML that lasted 5 years, will buy a 750 if I see one at Costco today)
- Vodka (Absolute only because it was in a 375ML, 3 years)
- Bailey's (375ML, just bought a new bottle for the holidays)

But I do have friends who drink other things. I just don't have the space to storage full 750ML bottles of things which I'm not going to use.

Any suggestions on how to stock the rest of the bar with 375s and 250s? A lot of the better brands do not have smaller bottle sizes, and I don't want to get junk for my friends. Also, which liquor stores in the city or western suburbs have the best selection of smaller bottles?

oof. that's some candy-sweet hooch. good thing it took you 5 years rather than 5 hours to finish. (mmmm, high school memories)

could i suggest you try something like an orangecello or a limoncello? both are fruity/sweet aperitifs in the 50-65 proof range. i couldn't find any listed at 375ml, but they're usually sold in skinnier than usual bottles (for marketing reasons that escape me).

honestly, i think your difficulty in finding small sized quality spirits is that you're shopping in the wrong part of the store. a 250ml is basically a half-pint...so you might try asking the clerk for a bottle behind the register. yeah, it'll feel weird ordering from the hobo counter and you'll pay way more per ml than you should, but i guarantee you can find perfectly good spirits in "travel" sizes.
