Looking to pick up some Hefeweizen glasses in preparation for my Hefeweizen and Dunkelweizen being ready soon. Could also use some Belgian Ale style glasses, etc. Anyone know a good local place to grab these? William-Sonoma has 4 hefe glasses for $72; no thanks.

Just not sure if any of the restaurant supply places would have these glasses and before I went on a goose chase, figured I'd ask.

That store in the Woodfield Mall, Scott's Brewery Collectibles, has tons of glassware.

E-bay has worked for me, as long as I make sure to get unused glasses.

Not sure if these are exactly what you're looking for, but they're great beer glasses at a great price:

The Tuesday Morning in Skokie usually has some very nice glassware for cheap, but the selection changes all the time. I bought some great German beer glasses there for a few bucks each. I also recently picked up some delerium tremens glasses at the Extra-Value liquor store on Western for $1 each. They often have promotional glassware for sale (by the cash register) including beer glasses, but, again , the selection always changes and the Belgian glasses go fast.

    Thanks for all the advice.
I was hoping to get plain glasses with no branding but looks like it may be easier to get branded ones.

Couple places I have also found myself that seem to have good prices on branded glasses are John's Grocery and Brewery Ommegang.

Does anyone know if Goose Island sells their Chalices with the black Chicago flag on them?

For a moment there I thought you were looking for beer goggles. That's a do-it-yerself-er, sorry.

Had some luck with my search this past weekend. Target had a nice enough set of 4 - 23oz Pilsner glasses that have the curve just like a weizen glass (or close enough for me) and was only $9.99 or so.

Also grabbed 2 Duvel "gift packs" while at Vas Foremost that each had 4 Duvel bottles and a Duvel tulip glass. At only $1 more than a 4 pack of Duvel it was a good enough score for me. AND it came with beer :)

I think this is what he's looking for. Unfortunately, they only had one and I bought it when I went to Peoria's Beerfest this year.

Not that this helps you in your search, but it's the glass shape I'd recommend for a dunkel weiss.

Oh wait, I just realized I had two 12 pks of brand new crystal Paulaner 500ml glasses. I tried to sell em on Craigslist but no one bit. You want em? I'll make you a real reasonable offer. This is what they look like Image

Binny's on Dempster in Skokie (just off the Edens) has beer glasses for various beers with their logos on them. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but they are pretty.

Love the Aventinus glass, that's a great beer. I was also at that festival in Peoria and picked up an Erdinger glass that was similar. The shape was similar and what I was looking for, but an Aventinus glass would have been way cooler!
