I tried some of it recently and really liked it a lot as well. It definitely has a malty/hoppy taste, so it is like using beer as a mixer without the carbonation. Could be good in a boilermaker
Unfortunately I can't think of many good beer cocktails that I've tried, but there's a decent round up of beer cocktails
here that may be helpful. It has enough of a hoppy taste that I'd try to avoid anything sweet so you don't end up with cough syrup.
I've been putting a splash of Koval's ginger liquor into prosecco on hot days and really like that a lot.
