I am a fan of Violet Hour, and am looking for a store in Chicago which has a selection of bitters (orange, etc) such as Regan's.

I would try Sam's and West Lakeview Liquors.

The Sam's in Lincoln Park (haven't looked at the south loop location yet), had Angoustra and Peychauds, as well as Fee's Orange and Peach when I checked last week or so. I have not located Regan's unfortunatly.

While I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, you might want to try Drinks Over Dearborn. I would be surprised if they didn't have a selection.

Here are the ones I've got, and where I got 'em.

Angostura: Pretty much anywhere. Ango Orange is also widely available at most Binny's.

Fee's Orange, Peach, and Old-Fashioned, as well as Peychaud's: Sam's on Marcey (Lincoln Park)

Regan's Orange #6: a liquor store in Washington, D.C. Haven't seen it here.

When Kyle McHugh had just opened DoD, I asked him if he had any bitters -- he didn't, and gave me his personal bottle of Fee's Grapefruit, and I haven't seen them for sale since I've been last. Maybe I've just missed them?

Bittermens' of Boston is going to start distribution of their Grapefruit and Mole bitters, and I couldn't be more excited.

You can also order these from Amazon.com. Regan's is also available from Buffalo Trace's website.

Honestly it was just a shot in the dark on my behalf, so he very well may not carry any .... it does surprise me though.

According to Bradley Bolt (Bar Deville), the sole distributor of Regan's is Buffalo Trace and can only be gotten from them online. They do not directly sell to any retailer. Bradley uses Regan's at Bar Deville and says that he has to order it directly from the Buffalo Trace website each time.

Well if we are going online, I got my bitters from Kegworks. They have the Fee's lineup, Angostura (traditional and orange), Peychaud's, and yes Regan's.

Oh, they have the whiskey-barrel aged Fee's! I'm so happy!

Update: Drinks over Dearborn is now stocking the entire Fee's line, Ango and Ango Orange, Peychaud's, Regan's, and maybe another I'm forgetting. They don't have in the Bitter Truth/Bittermen's line yet, but they're working on finding a US distributor.
