I printed out a recipe for Herb Lemonade Sprizter from the NY Times way back in 2001

and finally made it over the weekend. It was just as delicious as I thought it would be, lo those many years ago!
Basically, it's proper lemonade made with simple syrup and lemons. The recipe says to put the lemonade along with herbs (cilantro, basil, mint, oregano, and tarragon) in a food processor and coarsely chop, then let this mixture refrigerate over night. Then you strain the herbs, and make the spritzer, garnished with mint and lemon.
Well, I muddled the herbs and added the lemonade, and let it refrigerate for a while. Then I strained the herbs and made the spritzer. A little vodka wouldn't have hurt, either... Nicely herby; I especially liked the cilantro.
Now to go through the billions of other recipes I've printed but never tried.......
