    Hey all,

I'm a frequent traveler (status on Southwest and Delta working on United) and getting married in October. I'm booking our honeymoon and I'm looking for an airline that offers good champagne for sale on flight or free in first class OR a airport bar in Ohare or Midway that offers decent champagne before the flight. I'm flying to NYC so only domestic flights. Looks like most carriers have cancelled champagne on domestic flughts.

I don't mind at all paying but would love to find a good drink before our ride out :)

I hardly ever drink alcohol when flying, so I don't have the greatest recall on this, but I think there's still champagne in domestic first on some airlines (e.g., I think it's on United). I can't remember seeing champagne in coach. And I wouldn't normally suggest it, as I don't think it's a great deal, but you can buy day passes to some of the airport clubs, for which you'd often have to pay extra for drinks (depends on clubs and type of drink). As you may or may not be aware, the clubs really aren't that nice, but are sometimes better than the alternative.

The main thing I'm writing to suggest though is that if you don't get a good answer here is to check out Flyertalk, where your question may already be answered and, if not, people will absolutely know. You probably need to check the airline specific forums.

I think this is correct in regard to United. I got a free upgrade on a recent NY to Chicago flight and I seem to recall them offering champagne. I would check first though before booking anything.

Absolutely second the FT recommendation. I refer all Chicago-area restaurant discussions to LTH and all travel-related discussions to FT. My two favorite message boards!
