Trader Vic's Closes (again)

While I was never enamored of the new location as the old one in the Palmer House was perfect (and the one in Vegas is an abomination), it's still sad to see it go. Very surprising given the tiki renaissance currently ongoing.

Anyone know if there will be an auction? Would love to grab some tiki artifacts.

I heard about this the other day, and my response was, "Uhh, didn't that happen a couple years ago?" Had no idea that they had relocated when they closed the one at the Palmer House...

The Scottsdale Trader Vic's also closed, and will be auctioning stuff online. You can sign-up for an email list when the auction begins. There is no word about the Chicago Trader Vic's having an auction yet. Here is alink to a Chicagoist article about the new incarnation of Trader Vic's.
