I was a little confused, as normally my beer gets filled in the cup from the bottom up, but now I get it. Pretty clever from a design standpoint. It seems useful for high-traffic places with beers that people don't really care about, but I wonder how it would perform with a beer that actually has more than a 1/8 inch of head. I would think a little splashing action would be needed to get the right amount of head and, thus, give the beer the right "nose" to it.

Two years ago my husband and I took a trip around the Midwest to watch baseball. I recall seeing this contraption at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. There was a big line because people wanted their beer poured by this novelty item, and IIRC the beer was whatever macrobrew swill they serve there.

When this was first announced, there was also a lay-z-boy chair that had a single dispenser attached for sale. More of a sales gimmick than anything else. May I never be that lazy.

The videos show them serving Bud and Bud Light which seems appropriate. I think those beers actually benefit from being served in plastic cups. It adds flavor. How long will it be before college kids start using this device for "keg stands"?.

What's next, sugar free cola? I like the way she makes sure to get all five fingers on the rim of almost every cup she serves, PRO!
