Anyone know where to get fresh (not dried) chamomile?
    I love animals...they're delicious!

I don't know sorry, but I have bought it potted at a few different garden centers in the past. (I think the last time I bought some was at a Home Depot.) It grows pretty well in the summer. When I used it for tea, the flavor was a bit softer than the dried version...

Lowe's & Home Depot will have it in starter pots soon.

You can often find fresh chamomile at Pete's Fresh Market. Look for manzanilla between the hierbas de olor and the guajes.

Hi- I realize that this is probably too far for you, but Henry Brockman comes to the Evanston farmer's market with his sister Teresa. His sister brings all kinds of fresh organic herbs every Saturday, and I am sure that chamomile is one of the ones she brings. I bet that you can get some at the Green City Market too. I am not familiar with the farmer's markets in the Wicker Park area, but maybe you can find it at one of the markets there. Hope this helps, Nancy
