I just got this in my email, I'm not going to make it, but figured someone might be interested.

and it’s a benefit, with all proceeds going to Peirce Elementary School, our nearby Chicago public school on Bryn Mawr that we’ve been working with for a few years now.

Currently, we have commitments for more than 30 craft brews to sample, a special roast Metropolis coffee for sale for this event only, and some amazing items for the auction (breweriana, experiences, and beyond!) There will be food from local places throughout the evening, as well as music and who knows what else.

$40 in advance, $50 at the door.

    Hello Friends,

I wanted to let everyone know that this event is amazing. For $40, you get to drink/taste every beer at the Hopleaf on tap and
local breweries also brew special kegs that are also tapped on the patio. The whole Hopleaf is dedicated to this Sunday afternoon
event which is the best beer tasting event in the city, for a low price, and all proceeds support a delightful neighborhood Chicago public school. I highly recommend this terrific event which I finally made it to a couple of weeks ago and am sorry I did not think to post/invite LTH'ers along. This would be a fun meet-up and there is a bit of local food served around to nosh on.

Next year will be the 5th annual--always a Sunday during the first couple of weeks of September.

    Cheers,
    Nancy
