I bought a bottle of pink grapefruit drink called sparkling ICE by Talking Rain. Really good.
Has a fresh fruity grapefruit taste that is not synthetic tasting. Not too sweet but sweet enough. Kind of like a grapefruit version of the san pellegrino drinks but with no sugar carbs or calories. It does have splenda and small trace amounts of vitamins and green tea extract which you can not taste. I got it at Domiinicks. They have other flavors I have not tried yet.

Here is the website. They also have other products that are interesting, including a drink called Twist that is sweetened with Stevia and Agave for those who object to Splenda. I found it very interesting also that their water is spring water from an artesian spring in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State.
The drinks are found at Jewel, Dominicks, Costco and Dollar General. Pls note I have nothing to do with this company and no financial interest here just posting about something I found to be quite good.

I strongly recommend everyone try Hint water, which is flavored, unsweetened still water. The flavors are very real-tasting and very strong...I particularly love watermelon and blackberry. They can be bought at Jewel and several other places around town.

Easily my favorite flavored water on the market.

Ok, so it's a sparkling, artificially-sweetened drink. How is this not a diet soda?

(n.b. I'm not fond of splenda, I dislike it the way many folks dislike cilantro: bitter and soapy -- much prefer aspartame or cyclamates)

It is really like a diet soda. The difference is that it is made with spring water. Like I said they do make a drink that is sweetened with agave and stevia but they do not carry it at Dominicks. I want to try that too. The point is that it is better tasting than any diet soda I have had. Its better than the usual grapefruit type drinks such as squirt or fresca. It has more of a natural grapefruit taste. I am always looking for zero cal drinks. Water can get boring as can ice tea. I am generally not fond of diet drinks but I have found coke zero to be okay. This seems like an alternative.

Have not liked the other kinds I tried as much....raspberry and kiwi strawberry. The mango orange and grapefruit are good. Will try more. Still will look for hint water but its not the same as its unsweetened.

I like the sparkling ice black raspberry, not so much the other flavors. Raspberry has some pizzazz, others too mushily sweet (I think). Found it at Walgreen's.

It falls into the flavored water category, like Vitaminwater or even lemon Perrier perhaps, rather than the soft drink/soda pop category, although the exact point where one becomes the other isn't easy to identify.
