For those of us who drink tea, it appears a revolution is in the making. Not that the revolution is exactly new, but word of it has apparently reached even the
New York Times. In a nutshell (probably the wrong metaphor here), tea purveyors have chosen to redesign the humble little paper mesh bag and fill it with high-quality whole-leaf teas instead of the dust routinely used. According to the story, depending on what you want, you can pay from 30 cents to $2 per bag. Apparently what caught the paper's attention was that Lipton has jumped on the bandwagon (again with the problematic metaphors); sadly, five of their six offerings will be flavored with dried fruit and other "seasonings."
Interesting story (warning: free registration may be required to read the story).
