Going to Lux bar for the first time tomorrow for brunch with friends. We wanted PJ Clarke's but they didn't take brunch reservations.

What does everyone think of Lux bar?

I recommend you choose some place else. The brunch at Lux Bar is nothing special and over priced.

I rather enjoyed my one brunch experience at Lux Bar. Fluffy buttermilk pancakes with piping hot maple syrup, and a side of crisp bacon. It was nothing earth-shattering, but I expect little touches from places that charge more than I usually spend for breakfast food. Lux (Luxe?) bar gave them to me in the form of the hot, real syrup and the cakes which were served on heated plates.
