Recommended to me by the owner of another paki bbq spot in the suburbs, this is a medium sized place a few blocks west of California serving up some really good bbq dishes, including a variety of items I haven't seen elsewhere (kastoori chicken, hara bari chicken, gola kabob) in addition to a very respectable Nehari and chicken Charga. The chicken Boti really stands out, and though in a different style, even stands up against that found at the usual board favorite. Haven't had everything on the menu, but from what Ive tried it's clear these folks are very particular about the food they serve, and it comes through.
Anmol BBQ 2858 W Devon
Anmol's been open for well over a year now I think. Its actually the 2nd Anmol.. the first serves the best Pakistani food in Milwaukee, WI

(Ive had a couple meals at the Milwaukee one and its pretty good - but really there is little reason to go Pakistani in Milwaukee unless forced to by friends, since its far better to concentrate on burgers, cheese curds, custard and the like).
Have tried the Devon Anmol a few times - pretty solid, was my view, but not spectacular. The Charga was better-priced than other places (10 bucks I think?), but felt a touch dry to me. The Chicken Boti is red-masala rather than the Khan's green-masala, isnt it? Quite different (unless Iam remembering wrong). Havent tried their Nehari, but have heard good things about it. I ought to try this place a bit more... tho recently, Ive made mostly flying trips to Devon to grab Chicken Biryani to go from "Biryani's", a very good new mostly carryout place not far from Anmol, which I think Ive mentioned before..)
