There was this great barbecue restaurant, originally on Lake Street and California, that served ribs and tips with a savory sauce. They never made anything sweet tasting. The recipe was based in vinegar and cayanne pepper
and was fantastic. Unfortunately after a couple of moves the restaurant went out of business and the recipe was lost. Hopefully someone either knows where I'm talking about and can
recommend another restaurant or recommend a recipe that will satisfy my need for unsweetened savory barbecue.
