Had to do the one-two Bien Trucha - A Toda Madre punch yesterday. Bien Trucha was off the hook, their sister restaurant A Toda Madre was interesting. A Toda Madre is supposed to be more homestyle cooking from moms kitchen from what I was told.
Slick decor, a few seats at a small oyster bar(they had kumamotos & some other varieties avail.) Friendly service, food was ok.
Did the chilaquiles, pork shoulder, tortilla chips, queso, crema, etc,:

craving pork belly, we did the pork belly "burrito", light on the belly, heavy on the rice, seemed to be missing the cucumber, and to my taste some tang(pork belly was well prepared):

churros were the highlight, passionfruit curd dipping sauce was but it was nice(didnt score a good photo.
Interesting spot I would like to try on an empty stomach not as a 2nd stop.
