Shaw's is still my favorite brunch in the city. I described it (and what I love about it) in a previous post (click
here for my previous post, and
here for their menu). I always see plenty of families there with kids of all ages, so it's kid-friendly (although so are pretty much all brunches). And it's all-you-can-eat.

The kids will be welcome at Shaw's. And they make waffles right next to the carving station, with various toppings you can put on them.
