On a business trip, I stopped in Kenosha for the night and tried the Brat Stop. Gotta say I was underwhelmed both by the service (I waited five minutes to be seated at a table while several servers walked by me and didn't even ask if they could help) and by the brat special plate I had. The wurst itself was tasty, but dry and overcooked. The kraut served with it was a pitifully small portion to be called a side dish, IMO, as it barely covered the brat on the bun. Fries were orange in color and tasted good but I don't believe they were sweet potato fries - at least I didn't order sweet potato fries. I didn't go the Merkt's fries route due to a large luncheon that day. I liked the venue - it looks like it could be a hoppin' place on a Friday or Saturday night.
Next time I'll try the broasted chicken!
