I bought buns at Bennison's, and when the cashier tried to put my plastic bag of buns into another plastic bag, I said no thanks. So I'm as green as the next guy.

That's why I was pelased to find these organic, grass fed beef hot dogs, which have none of the bad stuff of regular hot dogs. Unfortunately, as those of you who are more cynical about these things surely know already, it kinda sucked. It was dry, and had none of the needed nitrates that give a hot dog its cancer causing hot dog goodness. Maybe sucked is too strong. At best, it was just a really boring little wiener. I won't have them very often, but I'm going back to the ones that take a few days at a time off my life expectancy, and perhaps a few millennia off of the planet's.

Don't you mean alleged cancer causing goodness?

I've never been thrilled with Applegate Farms' deli meats but they are ok.

A grass-fed hog? Aren't they supposed to eat leftovers like the leavings from cider presses and spoiled milk? C'mon, you can be green without requiring an omnivore to eat grass....
(edited: sorry, misread that they are all-beef. Phew)
