Very Hilarious book...I have not cooked anything from it, but have enjoyed reading it. I love the tips on how to clean your girl parts!

If you follow that link (which is just someone's flickr account with their personal favorites from the contest) to the actual story from NPR's site, you get to see all of the entries. It looks like they put up all of the photos and they really should have edited it down a little- there's some that are just disturbing and weird.

There's one with a guy put plastic googly eyes on hot dogs, laid the hot dogs in a platter of creamed corn and is standing there, holding the platter, topless, with his big hairy belly hanging over it, with little drips of creamed corn on his belly  I could feel the heterosexuality draining out of me.

Then there's one where someone made a head out of raw ground beef and put eyes on it. Really creepy. I couldn't make it past the first page of pictures- there were seven more pages! ((shudder))

I haven't gotten the Amy Sedaris book yet- my mom was going to get it off eBay for me, but she got scammed by the seller :x

Twisted humor runs in the family as her brother is David Sedaris, winner of the Thurber Prize for American Humor in 2001.

You can hear him read many of his stories on NPR's This American Life by searching David Sedaris at the link below:
