If you follow that link (which is just someone's flickr account with their personal favorites from the contest) to the actual story from NPR's site, you get to see all of the entries. It looks like they put up all of the photos and they really should have edited it down a little- there's some that are just disturbing and weird.
There's one with a guy put plastic googly eyes on hot dogs, laid the hot dogs in a platter of creamed corn and is standing there, holding the platter, topless, with his big hairy belly hanging over it, with little drips of creamed corn on his belly

Then there's one where someone made a head out of raw ground beef and put eyes on it. Really creepy. I couldn't make it past the first page of pictures- there were seven more pages! ((shudder))
