We are happy to host this lovely couple again this week. Since this is the five year anniversary of The Flavor Bible, WBEZ is promoting this event.
We always serve food with these author signings, as it gives my creative staff a chance to flex their culinary skills. A fair percentage of our staff went to culinary school but then became disillusioned with the restaurant world, and I can tell how much they miss cooking. Our tasting menu will include Curried Pumpkin-Apple Soup w/ creme fraiche and cranberry; Pepper-crusted Beef Tenderloin w/ Horseradish sauce; Moroccan Lamb Meatballs w/ Cumin Spiced Tomato Sauce and more.
